About Casey Vassios

Hi, my name is Casey Vassios. I’m a freelance web designer and developer in sunny southern California. I first became interested in web development in 2003 during a web development class I took my freshman year of high school. From there I spent a lot of my free time learning what design and development was all about, and when I started to figure out what I wanted to do with my life, I landed in computer science with a key interest in web programming.

While I was going to school, I was lucky enough to get some professional experience in web development as well. In 2011, I was hired on as a search engine optimization (SEO) specialist for a healthcare marketing company. In 2013, I started my freelance business and have worked with a variety of small business companies and marketing companies. In 2014, I was hired as a webmaster for one of the faculty offices at CSU San Bernardino, and in 2016 I was hired by the CSU San Bernardino Web Services department as a developer for the university’s website.

I like to have fun!

I think having fun is important in life. It makes everything more enjoyable and can make you more productive in all aspects of life. There are tons of things I want to do and explore in my free time, and usually pretty open to trying new things. Life is short, so live it to the fullest possible!

Left and Right Brained

This is why I got into both web design and development. I get to be both creative and technical, so I never get bored figuring out how to approach the challenges of both.
